Our Story

Our Control Room is based within Central Garage and is a vital part of operations at Lothian.
Our dedicated team of Duty Managers, Night Managers and Controllers monitor every bus across our network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Working alongside our team of Incident Response Supervisors and Service Delivery Supervisors, they are the first point of contact for all our driving team while out on service and assist with all incidents, issues, concerns or queries.
Our Control Room also continually monitor the traffic situation across Edinburgh and the Lothians and feed the latest up-to-date traffic information to both our driving team and our customers through our dedicated web and social media service alerts.
