Colleagues,
Following on from our recent comms that we have joined the Road Operators Safety Council (ROSCO), I am delighted to let you all know that over 1,000 driving colleagues across operations have achieved the ROSCO Safe Driver Award for 2023.
This means that those drivers have come to work at Lothian for at least 30 weeks, 15 hours per week and have driven without any blameworthy accidents and motoring convictions throughout the calendar year.
All eligible drivers for the award will receive a certificate to mark their achievement which will be arriving with us shortly to be distributed.
In addition to the certificates, our eligible drivers will be added to a ballot where they could win a money-can’t-buy experience from our partners at the Road Policing Unit, Police Scotland. We are meeting with partners from Police Scotland in the coming weeks to discover more about the prize they have in store for our drivers.
Across Lothian, our driving team do an amazing job delivering for all of our customers day in, day out. I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our eligible drivers for displaying the extremely high standards of professional driving Lothian has come to be known for throughout our industry.
