Some of you may have picked up on a news story this week reporting on a tender process for supported bus services for City of Edinburgh Council. As there were some inaccuracies in the published story, we wanted to let you know what stage the process is at to avoid any confusion.
Lothian Buses have successfully applied to be part of a framework for tenders that the City of Edinburgh Council are looking to award. The tender process for individual routes remains live, with the local authority yet to complete the process, notify bidders or award contracts.
At this stage we can’t comment on the detail of any applications made, however please be assured that as soon as we have an update we will share this with the wider business.
